La Caldera, a performing arts and dance creation center, settled into the old Renoir cinema and the building was adapted to the new needs. However, the bar was left untouched and renovation was necessary.

The proposal is a punctual low-budget intervention in order to organize the bar and kitchen area as a whole.

Specifically the bar is reoriented towards the hall and connects directly with the kitchen while opening a new passage for more organic circulation. The space outside is also rearranged in order to generate a welcoming area for visitors. The material choices and the light design aim to create a warmer, more comfortable atmosphere.
