Putxet
This house is a space with a square ground plan and only one side overlooking the garden. Without modifying much the existing distribution, the proposal generates more open, proportionate spaces, more clearly connected among themselves and the garden.
The main modification is the expansion of the kitchen towards the entrance, thus connecting more easily with the garden. Different spaces are pieced together with sliding doors and windows embedded inside the walls. The indirect light beamed towards the ceiling trickles down over the laminated plaster ledges. The cupboards limit the space depth, which becomes wider and diaphanous.
The collaboration with the people inhabiting the house was essential for taking decisions, choosing materials and finding solutions.
